Sonar

A resurrected application, once abandoned during development, now thriving with a growing user base. I spearheaded the project, managed an intern, and brought it to completion.

Sonar - An App Revived and Thriving

Sonar Application

Sonar is an application that I had the chance to pick up after it was left unfinished. As a freelance developer and a student at the IT engineering school EPITA in France, I dedicated several months to code and breathe life back into this project. Following that, I managed an intern who helped in finalizing the app.

"A project is not abandoned until you quit on it."

The application now boasts a large user base and continues to grow, a testament to the success of our work. The technologies utilized throughout the project were:

  • React for the user interface
  • Webpack for module bundling
  • MongoDB as our database
  • NestJS for managing our server-side applications
  • AWS EC2 for backend hosting

This experience underscored the importance of persistence and the rewards of hard work. What was once a shelved project is now a full-fledged application serving many users, proving that no project is truly abandoned until you quit on it.
